We have been providing fine dairy dairy products to the Uganda market since 1992.

Fair prices paid promptly to our local dairy farmer suppliers is our policy.

Promotion of local dairy-processing skills in upcountry areas is one of our goals.

1)Take cheese from the frig a good half-hour before eating; cheese eaten at room temperature tastes best.

2)Invest in a good cheese knife and cutting board.

3)Freshly cut salad vegetables go well with cheese as well as fresh bread.

Black pepper is an age-old flavour that, time after time, pleases the palate. Now harnessed in our hand-made cheddar, it gives rich flavour and body to any cheese plate.

There's nothing like a bit of Feta - fresh from the brine - to spice up a salad and give the diet concious the protein as well as the appetite for an excellent meal.

The construction of the new factory has commenced with the aim to complete by mid-year 2012. The metal towers on the right are for the innovative heating system whereby milk will be pastuerized by biofuels such as maize cobs, papyrus or the like.

On 2nd September 2010, PDL signed another two year collaboration agreement with the Faculty of Medicine, Mbarara University of Science & Technology. The arena of collaboration is in improving mutual understanding of the microbiology of milk, hygiene in milk processing and standards in the milk industry

A new area of training has been introduced, given that PDL is expanding and now building new premises wherein university students will have opportunity to experience milk processing first hand

PDL supports literacy in
northern Uganda

UPLIFT is a community-based effort to bring literacy to rural Uganda. With its motto "Bestowing wings to knowledge through literacy, one heart at a time", this vision has already achieved 12,000 graduate learners. UPLIFT is targeting 20,000 by 2015.
